About Monique Lucas
Monique Lucas is an Interior + Homewares Designer and Stylist. Her work has been featured in leading Home and Design Magazines, including The Sunday Times Home, Country and Town House and House and Garden. She began her design career in Los Angeles. Working in West Hollywood for a design group, working on installs for properties throughout California.
Monique left LA with a yearning for home. She returned to the Uk to the Isle of Wight, a place of comfort and safety for her. She focused on creating homeware that gave everyone that same feeling of place, comfort and home.
Inspired by the island’s coastal landscapes and seaside, her homeware range @moniquelucashome is full of original design with sustainability at its core, made entirely in the UK. Her bespoke hand-drawn, original homeware is available on the website. Including commissioned works from The Round Hill estate in Yorkshire, and branded linens for The Isle of Wight Tomato Stall.
The natural next step on her design journey is to combine her love for home comforts in the UK with the vibrancy and joy of LA interiors in long-term design projects.
Her latest venture is Monique Lucas Design. A interior & design studio that combines original design and a curation of uplifting interiors. The underlying design ethos is ‘LIVE JOYFULLY’ so when approaching projects, colour (and fun) is a must.
